Captain Gui Garcia- Gui was born in Lisbon Portugal to a family of many generations of Navy officers. At the age of 16 he got his first job working on a private yacht off the Portuguese coast.   In 1983 Gui moved to the US with his parents, his Father came to Washington DC as a Naval Attaché.   In 1993 Gui received his U.S.C.G. captain's license. His love for the ocean, yachting, and diving took him to California, Hawaii, Palau, Truk, Micronesia, and the Mediterranean where he worked as a Captain on diverse yachts. He is an instructor trainer for recreational and technical diving as well as a videographer, and an accomplished underwater photographer, with his work published worldwide. He is also trained in CPR and First Aid. Gui's interests are photography, diving, practicing Judo, swimming and hiking.

First Officer Travis Rowan - Originally from Colorado, USA, Travis began his career in the yachting industry as a scuba instructor in the Caribbean and Hawaiian Islands. After earning his USCG 100-ton Masters License in 2001 (currently upgrading to 200-ton Master Oct 07.) He served as a relief Captain and First Officer on an 87 foot luxury dive yacht in Hawaii. Travis has instructor certifications for many specialty dive ratings including Nitrox. During his 10 years in the diving and yachting industry,Travis also pursued his passion for photography. In addition to being an accomplished underwater photographer, he is also a widely published travel photographer best known for his work in Asia.

Chief Engineer Gunther Alvarado - Gunther was raised in Guatemala and attended the University of Michigan where he studied pre-Engineering and Biochemistry. His career began in 2002 on a 130 foot Christensen as engineer and shortly thereafter became the captain. Since then as Chief Engineer he has successfully managed and improved both Charter and Private yachts.
His fluency in English and Spanish has proved to be an asset. In addition to his Y3 MCA chief engineer's license he has a 200-ton USCG captains license. Gunther has also completed numerous other STCW ’95, MCA, USCG and MSC courses. He credits his technical interest in the Maritime industry to his father, who is a veteran American Bureau of Shipping Consultant / Surveyor, a Naval Architect and Marine Engineer from the University of Michigan. His Father has been an invaluable assessor in the many refits and yard periods the Crewteam has been involved in.

Chef Christina Jones-Garcia - Christina was born in Hawaii, her interest in cooking started at a very young age when she moved to the Wine country and Redwoods of Northern California. At 16 she started working in restaurants, and after graduating high school she started her full time career as a cook in local restaurants and Bed and Breakfasts. At age 19 she decided to step up her "Flair for Food" and enrolled in the California Culinary Academy, in San Francisco where she received her degree as a Certified Chef. For the past 11 years her cooking has received rave reviews in international destinations and the yachting world. Christina has also served as a private chef for "Simpsons" creator, Matt Groening and other elite clientele. Christina has a 100-ton captain's license and is a certified Divemaster.

Bosun Jaco Stofberg - Jaco originates from Namibia / South Africa. In his young yachting career he has already transited the Panama Canal three times, cruised 12,000 miles and earned his 200-ton Yachtmaster certificate. His talents on the deck and enthusiasm are his hallmarks. Jaco intends to be a captain one day. He also enjoys photography, scuba diving and classic literature.

Stewardess Meredyth Mallone - "Mallone" as she is known is the newest member of our team. She is from California. Her extensive background in the guest service industry and desire for adventure led her to a career in yachting. She holds a current STCW 95 certificate and is certified in CPR. Her interests include scuba diving, creative writing and nutrition.
